Backtracking: Daddy's Day

I had every intention of doing a post on Father's Day, but like most things these days, I'm a bit behind.  It's not for lack of material though!  We celebrated Dusty on Sunday with a lunch after church, some golf (for him) and then we spent the evening at the AU Club pool.  We gave him a grill thermometer and Libby picked out a Duck Dynasty t-shirt (ahem...all by herself).

I went in search of some pictures of my guy and his babies on my computer, which led to a trip down memory lane.  I teared up looking back at photos of when Dusty first became a Daddy.  Hence, this looooong post with an obnoxious number of pictures.   Although, I'm sure I'll be glad one day that I have all these memories in one place.

This man daily out-serves me and loves our children with his whole heart.  It is my privilege to train them up alongside such a gentle, funny and loving Daddy.  He seeks the Lord and leads and provides for  us.
We think he's pretty darn great.

So, here they are in chronological order...

Our new family of three!

...then along came Annie Kate...

...and finally, welcome Charlie!

Now we are a family of five!

What a guy! It doesn't hurt that he's really cute too.
Dusty has truly followed his calling to be their Daddy.  He loves us and makes us feel that we are his treasures.

Happy Father's Day, Dusty!
